Who needs colon hydrotherapy?
Most people suffer from malfunctions of symbiosis, the so-called dys-biosis fo the normal community of bacteria and man. Due to the consumption of sterilised and denatured food, false nutrition and a wrong way of living, the balance between man and bacteria is destroyed. Environmental pollution, airborne toxins and the abuse of medicines can also contribute to this problem. Consequently, the defensive ability of the organism is more and more paralysed.
More than 30% of the population have a malfunction of the assimilation because of a preponderance of disease-procuring intestinal bacteria. There is not sufficient supply of oxygen in the body tissue anymore so toxic and waste materials are not broken down and excreted fast enough as a result.
The inevitable result is an auto-intoxication of the body.
Loss of vitality, exhaustion, depression, lack of concentration, aggression, and excessive fear and panic attacks may result. Also, diseases, infections, inflammations, rheumatism, polyarthritis, acne, psoriasis and other diseases of the skin (as well as high blood pressure, migraine, allergies and many other ailments) can today often be put down to malfunctions of the intestines.
For a long time, immunologic processes in the human body were looked upon from the standpoint of infection. But now, it is well known that there is a close connection between assimilation and the immune system.
80% of the immune system is located in the walls of the large intestines.
Imunglobulines (protein substances with defensive ability) are mainly produced in the intestines. |

The mucous membrane of the large intestine is the first and most important defence line against toxins. Liver, kidneys lymphatic system, lungs and skin-surface then follow in second place. Professor Otto Wartburg (winner of the world Nobel-prize 1931) already realised that a weak immune system due to a disturbed assimilation in the intestines furthers the development and spreading of cancer cells considerably.
Large parts of the population in our civilised world suffer from obstipation. The intestines have ceased their normal motion due to years of false nutrition. Waste products, incrustications and hard substances in the hausta (intestinal bags) prevent the normal peristaltic (rhythmical, worm-like movement of the intestines) and therefore also the transport of the intestinal contents. Only increasing strong laxatives with their damaging effects on the intestinal mucosa offer a certain relief.
