How is the therapy performed?

The patient lies comfortably on his/her back on a bed. Water of different temperatures flows into his/her intestines through a plastic tube. Through a closed tube system, the dissolved intestinal contents and the water are conducted to the sewage. 

By performing a soft massage of the abdominal wall, the therapist can feel the problematic zones and can guide the inflowing water especially to this point. With the colon hydrotherapy an unprecedently thorough rinsing and rehabilitation of the colon becomes possible.

The dissolution effect of the water together with the cold-warm stimulation of the intestine causes it to take up its activity again and to transport the cumulated and stagnating contents of the intestines away.

The colon hydrotherapy causes no pain or cramps and is felt as being very pleasant and relaxing for the patients. The closed system prevents any unpleasant phenomena for the patient of the therapist such as smells, etc.
